Turkey should be kicked out of NATO

IntelligentDude29
YeshuaBought

Turkey has violated many policies of NATO and should be held liable for those instances. Such as jailing, Torturing, And killing Journalists. However, Kicking them out of NATO isn't the correct option for them because of the many backlashes. One is Turkey and Russia's continual relation improvement. Turkey and Russia are in a major economic alliance. They have signed an agreement to build at least on nuclear power plant in Turkey. Turkey has also obtained a Russian surface to air missile, S-...

Capital Punishment

Pythagoras2000
Anonymous03

There have been 166 exonerations of innocent people on death row in the US since 1973. Imagine how their lives could've ended because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. That's really effed up. Now, Here's a list of people from deathpenaltyinfo. Org on people executed with strong cases for innocence. This is definitely not all of them, But it's a start. Carlos DeLuna (Texas, Convicted 1983, Executed 1989) Ruben Cantu (Texas, Convicted 1985, Executed 1993) Larry Griffin (Misso...

It won't look like 20th century Socialism some might even compare it to fascism, But a state dominated one party state like china with a market economy heavily dominated by state industry and government intervention in the economy, Will replace Western style democracy as they implode from low birth rates and third world immigration...

Child murderers and child rapists should face the potential for Capital punishment

Granville
dingdongyropinioniswrong

In the UK and many other countries there is no capital punishment as it is viewed as morally wrong in a civilised society, I disagree with this perspective. If a serious crime is perpetrated against innocents (children of a pre-determined age, Perhaps <10) then the impact on all the victims is lifelong devastation. The child or children are of course the tip of a massive victim iceberg regularly under represented in legal process, Other than via impact statements which I suggest are at best cath...

Is it likely for a ultraconservative religious group take control of USA?

Leaning
billsands

Too many different factions. This isn't Protestant England of 1532. Though America 'is fairly Protestant, It's been less and less as time goes by. I base this on my view that large features of Protestant's to encourage free inquiry, A right not to be forced to believe certain ideas/concepts, As well as advocating limited government. Google (religionandpolitics how protestants made the modern world) For the site that I cherry picked the first couple thoughts I liked Google (Wikipedia Re...

Companies should not be obliged to make their terms of service more readable, Short, Or transparent.

Mariiii
Harleygator

I believe that the terms of conditions should be shorter, More transparent, And easier to read. Firstly, Not everyone can read them accurately: often, A college education is required to fully understand these documents, And even then, The ambiguous and obscure language makes it difficult to comprehend. Secondly, People do not have time to read these conditions. It would take about 250 hours per year to read all the terms we unknowingly agree to. Studies have shown that literally 1% of pe...
