Beliefs are not true

That is entirely false. Are you talking about opinions? Or are you talking about religion? If it's religion, Maybe God is false, But that's not provable at the given moment. Opinions (beliefs) are definitely true. I have an opinion about Donald Trump, That some people don't agree with. It's what I believe, And an opinion that I believe is a belief.

Please don't be so vague.

My knowledge of the correctness of my belief is independent from the actual correctness of it.

Do you know if your belief is wrong or right michael?

A belief can be true for different reasons than they are believed for as well. If I believe something, It's either wrong or it's right regardless of why I believe it. For instance, I might believe that electricity and light are related because I had a dream that Johnny Depp told me so, My belief would still be just as correct as the same belief held by Benjamin Franklin after his famous key and kite adventure. So beliefs are absolutely either true or false.

"Beliefs are false"
If you believe that then it follows that very statement is false. Relativism is self refuting and illogical.
Just because you don't fully understand a belief or "know" something, It doesn't follow it is wrong.
