Let's say there is a big gap in your bucket. Suppose you use flex seal, Then there will be spray that will flow through the hole. What about flex paste? No such problem.

Shown in commercials, Flex seal requires time to dry in order to be waterproof but flex paste does not. Shown in commercials, Flex paste objected the rat hole in one smear, And if you use the flex seal, You will end up suffocating the rat, Or he will come out glued to the ground, And in all the situations you have used too much of it that the entire rat hole is filled, And thus proven flex seal is less effective than flex paste.

Flex seal can only be used for filling small gaps and holes in order to be effective while flex paste can seal all sizes of gaps and holes.
