"Good cops are professionals, Therefore amateurism is crime. " Let me point out some mistakes. -Most people are not cops -This does not prove that amateurism is a crime. - You made some grammar mistakes Ok, Now we've finished that point. Amateurism the practice, Quality, Or character of an amateur or amateurish performance. (Dictionary. Com) Some people are amateurs. Some people are not. But all people need to go through being an amateur to become a professional. That means if you consider being an amateur a crime, Than all people who try to learn something will instantly become a criminal. As you said "Good cops are professionals", You just simplified a concept. The real statement should be like this "Good cops used to be amateurs and then became professionals with practice and education. " So in short, If amateurism is a crime, Society will fail. |

Pro You could easily just paint every student with an amateur label but i don't think it fits, You can't be a cop without getting education first
I do not understand what you are debating, Is it "You can't be a cop without getting education first" or "Is Amateurism [a] crime". If it was the second one here's my point: Yeah, You can't be a cop without getting education first. People who are getting education must be amateurs so in a sense they are criminals. If 100% of the worlds population are criminals, Society will corrupt. |
