A Polygraph test is just JUNK science. The issue with lie detectors are they measure different biological responses to stress. These biological responses are pulse, Respiration, Blood pressure, And perspiration. The premise behind the lie detectors or polygraph is that the person answering the questions would experience an increase in stress when the examiner would say a specific phrase or if the person answering the questions answers with a lie. Also in order for this to be admissible in court, You would need the scientific community to declare that the Polygraph test is scientifically accurate

Unfortunately, None of your argument is of a persuasive nature; none of them serve to push a certain opinion. They're all statements of facts that are very neutral in nature. It's like just repeating, 'the sky is blue'.

'The issue with lie detectors are they measure different biological responses to stress. These biological responses are pulse, Respiration, Blood pressure, And perspiration. '
So what? Is there an issue with this?

'The premise behind the lie detectors or polygraph is that the person answering the questions would experience an increase in stress when the examiner would say a specific phrase or if the person answering the questions answers with a lie. '
Very informative. So what?

'
Also in order for this to be admissible in court, You would need the scientific community to declare that the Polygraph test is scientifically accurate. '
Cool. You do not go on to say that the scientific community does not declare that the polygraph test is scientifically accurate. You literally end your debate there.

I think you need to present an actual argument in future rounds. Anyway here's my argument for this round.

Your premise that the polygraph is 'junk science' is wrong, As the polygraph is based on a very scientific process of measuring various biological indicators which normally serve a pretty big purpose in telling when someone is lying. Though it might not be the most reliable it does a pretty good job at picking out your average young petty thief.
What part of a polygraph makes it 'junk science'?
