I don't like Marvel much. It's far too laid back for my tastes. Even serious events are just not as delved into as I'd like. DC really knows how to draw out those dark emotions and situations - Batman in particular is my favorite. If you've ever seen something like The Dark Knight Returns (animated movie), It's simply amazing. The darkness, The psychological depth, The amazing story line, Etc. . All of this just lacks with Marvel. Marvel for the most part feels like I'm watching almost generic anime - where a character's development and resolve just seems to come from shallow and cheap plot lines.

When you watch a DC movie or such, You're going to see the heroes go through hell. When you watch Marvel, It's almost just a roadtrip feel.

Your answer didn't feel substantial enough to even call an opinion. It was vague and had claims that weren't just false. There are debates on whether the Joker is actually Evil or not. There are debates on whether or not Superman should actually not kill. Many DC characters are relatable, Like Robin, Cyborg, Superman (can't fit in), Etc. . (if you've ever watched Teen Titans). Moreover, Many villains are relatable, As many of them become villains do to life - like Mr. Freeze (loosing a loved one), Penguin (Lost all his money), And Two-Face (Trying to stand for justice).

So your argument doesn't really stand since you didn't even graze the surface of what you were trying to say.

@zapshe- The creator of this question asked a question and they got an answer. Don't think psycho analysis toward the responses was meant here.

"You can essentially take any Marvel character and at least one of them will relate to your life. "

You can do the same with a garbage can, This is more of an opinionated claim than anything real.

"Even a villan like Thanos gets more connection to readers because there was actually debates as to whether what he did with the Snap was right or not. "

I think that more reflects the fan-base rather than Thanos himself. You could do the same with many villains in DC.

You can essentially take any Marvel character and at least one of them will relate to your life. They just seem to have a more personal connection than DC. I see the "A" team of DC and none really relate. Even a villan like Thanos gets more connection to readers because there was actually debates as to whether what he did with the Snap was right or not.
