Social Media has plagued our society although it has many benefits it has done more bad than good. I will argue against social media. May he best win.

Social Media has done some bad things but it has also employed many people. It has payed medical bills for those who could not afford to pay them. Sometimes the Internet bans together to do amazing things like #teamtrees.

A lot of kids use social media, But I wouldn't say most kids are addicted. As of lowering oratorical skills, 66% of people are extrovert or ambivert so the public speaking thing is more worried about failing which is not fueled by social media. I tried to do the math for your Africa argument but I gave up do to the amount of math that would take. Social Media does provide a platform for cyber bullies, But it also provides a place to spread positivity and help those who are bullied or suicidal. People can vent, Chat with people are experiencing /experienced the same negative thing and guide others though it. People stand up to bullies a lot on the internet.
