By these, I don't mean game consoles. I mean whole companies in which multiple things are produced.

Anyways, It is up to you to pick a side since I have equally important sources.

Microsoft is way better, They got more money and have better stuff
ALL Sony Game Consoles Are Faster, Have Better Graphics, Better Exclusives, Better Menu Layout, Better Sub Menu Layouts, Better Feature, Better Controllers, Cost Less With MORE Features. Sony Originated Backwards Compatibility, & Sony Is One Of The Co-Founders Of Blu-Ray. Sony, MIT, Sharp, Thomson, LG, Pioneer, Samsung, Hitachi, Phillips, & Panasonic Should Sue Crappysoft (Microsoft) For Using Blu-Ray In Their Crapbox (XBox) One. Sony Should Also Sue Crappysoft For Stealing The Backwards Compatibility Feature & Using The Name "Xbox One", Because The First PlayStation Was Known As The "PlayStation One".

As the filler of your argument is for Sony, I will argue for Microsoft.

1) Microsoft made revolutionary PCs and a revolutionary OS called Windows. Can sony do that?
2) Windows sold in all of china, Sony's biggest product, Which is the PS4, Sold in much scarce of an amount. China is a bi market. Whoever seized China will gain a lot.
3) Microsoft developed software AND hardware that are extremely useful. Sony only developed hardware that are famous, And their most famous software was still games and movies and pretty much nothing else memorable. All untility vs entertainment only.
4) PS1-4 controllers have this shape because it ripped off the Super nintendo. The entire thing was copied, Such as the 4-button layout, D-pad, And the shoulder buttons. Xbox one had its own innovations such as back triggers for the face buttons, As well as its Elite enhanced D-pad.
5) Continuing point one, Microsoft has both Xbox and PCs. Sony has no memorable PC. Since all on the internet says PC's are more powerful, It is impressive that Microsoft made both console and PC while Sony's digital market had to rely on PS4.
6) Microsoft bought Mojang and Notch published one of the best game ever: Minecraft. Having this good of a game is a benefit instead of those less unique first parties on PS4. Well Notch ain't no first party, But the fact Microsoft bought popular game studios working for them is still impressive.
7) Bill gates is the second richest man. He can buy a lot of Sony, At least more than the CEO of Sony can buy Microsoft.

Sony's only future is in gaming, They're stagnating while Microsoft remains one of the largest companies on earth.
