Fu ck that pig Nadler

First of all, I would like to thank my opponent for taking time to discuss this controversial issue.

Secondly, This is going to be a rather short round for me, Seeing as though my case requires very little pragmatic evidence to fulfill my burden. With that being said, Let's begin.

I'd like to begin my case with what a president can be impeached for "Treason, Bribery, Or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. " (U. S Constitution, Art. 2 Sec. 4) It's also worth noting that high crimes and misdemeanors is never explicitly defined anywhere in the Constitution, And that, According to Alexander Hamilton in the Federalist 65, Can even include "the misconduct of public men, Or in other words from the abuse or violation of some public trust".

So, Did Trump commit any of these actions that could lead to impeachment? While the short answer is yes, The long answer is technically.

In the wake of President Trump's call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, He had, According to the whistleblower's complaint, Violated at least 2 federal laws that absolutely constitute impeachment: bribery and obstruction of justice. Firstly, Bribery in this context is defined as, "corruptly demands, Seeks, Receives, Accepts, Or agrees to receive or accept anything of value personally or for any other person or entity, In return for. . . Being influenced in the performance of any official act. " While Trump made no explicit offers in his call with Zelensky, He heavily reminded Ukraine how little its European neighbors do for it, And how much the U. S helps it. If prosecutors can show that Trump agreed to provide aid to Ukraine in return for opposition research on Biden, Then this scenario absolutely constitutes bribery, Which is an impeachable offense.

Secondly, Trump's handling of the transcript of the phone call can be classified as obstruction of justice. In today's round, Somebody who commits obstruction of justice is defined as, "[someone who] knowingly alters, Destroys, Mutilates, Conceals, Covers up, Falsifies, Or makes a false entry in any record, Document, Or tangible object with the intent to impede, Obstruct, Or influence. " At this stage, We can"t know for sure whether such a cover-up took place, Although a whistleblower accused White House officials of moving the transcript of Trump"s call with Zelensky to a "separate electronic system that is otherwise used to store and handle classified information of an especially sensitive nature. " This in itself can be considered in a court of law as obstruction of justice, But even if prosecutors fail to incriminate Trump on grounds of obstruction, The act of working to put the phone call's transcript on an inappropriate server for the data's classification is an intentional act of deception, And can be considered a violation of public trust.

While their may be some doubts, If prosecutors can find sufficient evidence and convince the House that there was misconduct or intentional deception on the part of President Trump, He should be impeached for it. For the reasons listed above, I urge a CON ballot in today's debate.
Debate Round No. 1

The truth is that Trump has never interfered with Ukraine's goals. The DOD just realesead that Trump has been giving aid to Ukraine all along, Are we going to jump to conclusions or listen to trustees in the DOD. The whistleblower is a fraud and there is no evidence for his claims. He is still unknown!

Nancy Pelosi and her eliteist democrats that have sat on the same seat for 20+ years have a burning hatred for this President. They realized that they can't beat them and since the Muller Report ended in a massive victory for Trump, They want revenge,

Impeachment doesn't work anyway, The senate will just save him and the 98 midterms prove that impeaching triggers a party's base to make them vote for them.
