Well, Campaigning 'is expensive. It's also hard for 'me to deny that people of means have 'long had better chances, And a history, Of being the politicians. Not 'always, But people of means do find it easier to have the time, And take a financial risk in running.

It's hard for an individual to shake that personal agenda, To do other than what they think is right (Even selfishness being 'right to some people) though I do imagine that it bothers the American people when politicians vote against their interest.

Rich white men probably have better 'odds of being president, But it doesn't 'have to be.
