Well if you think car is not a sport then what about bobsleigh? Or Like bridge in the Asia games with poker? Like come on. Driving requires a lot of motion. Maybe not necessarily Nascar. Even bridge can be qualified as a sport, And so is chess, Go, And anything similar. You just use equipments, In Nascar the equipment is the car. That is it.
According to all known laws of aviation, There is no way that a bee should be able to fly.
Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground.
The bee, Of course, Flies anyway.
Because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible.
With my point proven i say Yay arth tho fast car is a sport of the Southern cuture my fellow lads and lasses
So if you've every seen a NASCAR driver they are ripped and its not because they want to look good it s because of the fact that that they don't have power steering so if you have ever tried to tun the wheels of a car while it is off then just imagine doing that while going close to 200 mph
Chess would qualify more as a sport than NASCAR. Your hand must accuratly move the piece to the correct spot and the mental toll is far greater than driving.
In Nascars a car can be secretly supercharged and would give a person an unfair advantage. I question their ability sometimes and would not consider it a sport more like a championship of competitive driving.
All you do is sit in a car for 3 hours drive and only turn left and whats the point in it if someone gets stressed out don`t you think they could harm someone by ramming them so if you think i am wrong then you don`t know what you are talking about
c (1) : physical activity engaged in for pleasure
(2) : a particular activity (such as an athletic game) so engaged in
1 : a person who is trained or skilled in exercises, Sports, Or games requiring physical strength, Agility, Or stamina
There are many things today that some people are calling sports. Even poker is shown on ESPN. By definition, Many of these are not. Tho some may claim that definition c(1) states they are sports, This definition is too vague as anything you enjoy doing would be considered sports as long as it contains some physical activity. This is why we can only use definition c(2) that includes the word athlete to define it. Given the definition of athlete, You can see how this fits the definition of what everyone considers sports such as basketball, Football, Baseball, Hockey etc.
Tho many/most pros who participate in activities like NASCAR and golf are in good or athletic shape, Clearly it is not a requirement to be do well at the pro level.
