It is about Money. Sex just happens to be what sells. If something sold better than sex, then that would be what is in music videos. Money is one of the only things that musicians care about. Who can honestly say that it is not about money? Who can honestly say that sex does not sell?
Hahaha... Wait, the question is serious? Christians might be the most challenged for their faith, but are far from being persecuted. Look at how the Christians persecuted other religions throughout history? Look at the people most commonly stopped at air ports for suspected terrorist when there is no reason to believe they are, Muslims. Look at how the Middle Eastern nations treat Jews. Christians are far from being on the list of persecuted religious groups in the world.
We can not know what advances the future may hold. We are constantly coming up with better technology that helps us understand the past. We were able to discover that the Big Bang happened! There is no telling what discoveries can be made in the future. Who knows, maybe we will find out that something happened before the Big Bang. We just have to look for new technology and amazing discoveries.
How can it? Atheism is based on rational thought and scientific advancements. Religion is based off of irrational thought and fairy tails. As we become more advanced there will be less need for your "God of the Gaps". If we become a society of brain dead morons, then atheism might die out, but if we did become a society of brain dead morons then how would "God" be omnibenevolent?
Quantum physics supports This a lot. Some things can happen with no cause. It also depends on how you describe effect. Point is, not all effects have a cause. This universe most likely does not have a cause (B-Theory of Time). The idea of everything needing a cause is an old one, outdated.
Many reasons why. Two people alone cannot populate a species (genetic bottleneck). The garden itself is unreasonable. A talking snake? A god that knows everything getting angry for Adam and Eve doing something that god knew they would do? I mean, do I really need to point out every single flaw in that story?
All the evidence point to evolution. All the peer reviewed evidence says evolution is true. Whether 9% or 99% believe in evolution is irrelevant, the truth is not a democracy. There is no peer reviewed evidence that shows evolution is false. There is a mountain of peer reviewed evidence that shows evolution is true. To deny evolution is like denying that the Earth orbits the Sun.
So much evidence We have created organic material from inorganic material, we have created self-replicating RNA from the conditions that are believed to be present during the formation of the Earth, and the most important piece of evidence is that life exists today... What? Creationists use that as their argument, why can't we?
Atheists do not use too much profanity. What are we comparing too much by? How about the religious? "You will burn in hell, be tortured forever." compared that to what atheists say. Even cussing is opinionated. What is a cuss word for me is not necessarily a cuss word to you, and vice verse. How do we compare "too much"? We cannot. How do we define profanity? It is opinionated.
Actually, men are Cooler than women (on average). The average body temperature of women is .4 degrees HIGHER than the average body temperature of men. This means that men are cooler than women, and that women are hotter than men. This does not mean there are not outliers, where a women can be cooler than a guy or where a guy can be hotter than a girl.
