I doubt it. I see no reason why supporters of gay marriage would accept that. I can understand religious people being all offended since they see it as a sacred thing, but why should any religion accept any religions but their own form of marriage. If this was a ultra bigoted Christian nation (for example) why would they allow Muslim marriages to happen? Wouldn't they likely prefer to call them civil unions? Little bit off topic.
I would say no I don't see religion as true or vital enough to fight other people over it.
I would say that I believe it is logical and right if someone believes in their religion to have war over it. If you truly believe your religion is the one religion and that other religions are deceiving ignorant or innocent people, damaging them, why would fighting to stop this be immoral?
But since my viewpoint is that no ones religion I've heard of yet is true/vital, not really any point in warring over it.
If they want To. There are already women serving in the military who I don't doubt are far more physically fit and emotionally tough than I will ever be. I do not think that the military should have weaker physical standards for women or accept women or men who may be better off not joining the military, just to fill a quota.
I don't think so. I haven't researched in really, But I have a level of trust in my government, Though that level of trust 'is situational. Seems like a lot of work a fake a landing. If it wasn't possible I'd imagine other countries who don't like us would say so. The basic idea seems tenable. 'Most other people think it happened. There's video, Moon rocks. Are all the reasons I can think of off the top of my head anyway, For why I think it was not fake.
I suspect not. I think it actually made healing more difficult as I believe he would have tried his best to be fair and just in administration, appointments, policy, ect. He also had vast experience that may have been able to use after his presidency was up. The loss of presidential office does not mean the loss of ability to positively effect America.
His death may have even poisoned the Union against the reunion some. It also may have undone much of what was held together in the administration. It did do wonders to his already quite credible reputation, martyrdom has that kind of effect.
Why the question?
Wouldn't say it NEEDS it Probably be better for it. I just don't think it's an option we can realistically apply to the current world. Still some space to expand yet, seek solutions. If I had children I would prefer to have more than one. Siblings were a supportive rather than negative influence in my family.
No it should not If someone does not want to ague with certain types of people because they feel they will be quick to quit the debate or use poor logic and wording during the debate. They should have that right. Some people also prefer to post an open debate in the comments rather than a one on one debate. The forum has discussions and random comments, but always debates. If the person who started the debate get's no acceptance because his standards are too high that's his problem, not the problem of everyone else.
Sure, why not. It's annoying to be bothered by the bad hygiene of others.
Whether they don't cover their mouth when they cough or they don't wash their hair/live in clean environment.
I think head lice CAN be dangerous, but am too lazy to research, got to love opinion.
Personal hygiene should be encouraged.
I 'think so . Another what? Another 20 something years or so and WW2 will have been over a hundred years ago. Eh, Point being that MAD seems as though it might have made the main powers wary of getting into big conflict with one another less they be blown to pieces. I might think though that MAD get's less effective over time as countries other than the main powers acquires bigger missiles. Not sure why I think that though, Right this second.
No, change name. Orthodoxy. If you're going to change the beliefs of the religion you choose to participate in then you ought to change the name of it and worship the slightly different (I can't tell the differences) creed. Religions pick and choose what to believe anyway, so sure you could have the Catholic higher ups re write a bit of it. I think it makes more sense to say you're New Age Catholic or something.
