Yes, I would
No, I wouldn't
It means the government is more focused on other ethnic backgrounds when they should be focused fairly on all ethnic background if they want to be equal about things.
I would because than if black people are racist to me I can sue them . And if anybody try's to fire me i can call it a hate crime and we can have white history mounth ( for some reason when these things are allied to white people its suddenly racist but black people can do it and sits perfect fine )
Who wouldn't be?
Yes, because I believe that if we're predominately minorities than we'll be like majority non white countries, which are typically 3rd world.
Of course I would. Especially if conservatism also became a minority.
Of course I would, this is meant to be a nation of white closeted socialist, can you imagine what would happen if progressives made society....progress? This is all sarcasm btw, but I really would be scared to be a minority, that being said we are all really minorities, as they're always differences between us all, hence the reason for democracy. I'd be scared to live in a society where those differences really matter.
Of course I would. Anybody who says no is lying. Being a minority means knowing that racism is a constant threat to your life and well-being. I don't think I can count on two hands the number of innocent black teens who have been killed by cops in the past year. How many innocent white teens are killed by cops? I'd say close to none. People will sympathize with a white teen who shoots up a school because he "wasn't in the right frame of mind," but will condemn an innocent black teen who was killed because they "shouldn't have been out at that time," or "shouldn't have dressed like a thug," or, my favorite, "shouldn't have put _____ in their pocket, because it looks like a gun." As a white person, I don't have to deal with racism. Calling someone a 'cracker' or saying that white people can't dance IS NOT RACISM. Your feelings getting hurt is not racism. Racism is people getting killed because they are black/latino/asian/etc. I'm sure that there are some people who have been killed because they were white, but I'm 100% sure that it's not nearly at the scale that blacks are. As Louis CK said, someday whites will be the minority, and we're going to pay for the thousands of years we've treated other races as less than human.
I am not racist by any means, but I would be a bit uncomfortable.
Yes, it would worry me a lot. Mostly because of all of the anti-white rhetoric that is currently spewed out by politicians, the media and academia. Once whites become a minority, do you think all of these people will stop treating whites as the evil oppressors who need to be punished? I doubt it. Plus the U.S. has always been a white country, the country will cease to be the same once the demographics change this radically.
That will make me feel not at home, uneasy and outnumbered.
Lived in Honolulu, 20% white, "go back to the mainland you fkg haole" - I felt upset that I was being treated as well if local
Of course yes
By 2050, Whites are expected to become a Minority.
Why does it really even matter? Are you scared that you will be oppressed by a majority? Why does it matter? We are all on this Earth together. The sooner you figure that out, the better it will be for everyone.
i feel like it would be rude if i said yes. but i think it would be interesting how the world would view it. like i have never considered it but then what would everybody else think? especially black people? i wonder what would happen to racist jokes....
Nope. Everyone knows America's an ethnic daisy chain designed for immigrants and diverse languages. It's a progressive culture that condemns discrimination and is apathetic towards the welfare of the nation. I'm caucasian with European grandparents, and as much a american citizen as Abdul Salam and Ricky Ricardo.
As long as we're Humans I see no problem.
Why would I?
Why would I..?
Only if I'm treated unfairly, which I doubt will happen. So no, I'm not.
race does not matter at all. which race is the minority should be of no concern to anyone
Nope. As a white person I"m totally fine with it. No more feminists or minorities can blame white people for all there problems. I"ll teach my kids that, even though life is 0.01% harder as a minority, YOUR NOT A VICTIM
No, I understand there is different features of certain areas, but I believe in only one race, the human race. We are all from the same star dust we are all equally intelligent (intelligent doesn't mean technologically advanced).
I'm an individual, I don't really care what racial group I'm a part of as long as I have equal opportunity to others. (and racial minorities have gotten equal opportunity in recent decades)
Because I'm not a racist
i would worry how i became a minority, genocide more than likely. but yeah over all, does it matter, besides then i would be a protected class.
I'm still a fellow human being in society. What? Am I supposed be scared of losing some false sense of power or dominance? I'll be happy to see all the white supremacist groups die out.
